DC Srinagar reviews land records digitization, modernization progress

Srinagar, Jan 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo Wednesday chaired a meeting of senior Revenue Officers here at Confrence Hall of the DC Office Complex aimed to review the progress of digitization and modernization of revenue record in district,

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; SDM West, Irfan Bahadur; SDM East, Zubair Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umar Gulzar and all Tehsildars of Srinagar District.

At the outset, the DC conducted Tehsil wise progress achieved in the digitization of revenue records of the district aimed to enhance transparency and efficiency in land records management.

The DC assessed the status of digitization of land records, including data entry, verification, and updation processes and emphasized the need for timely completion of the digitization process.

The DC emphasized digitization of revenue record in efficient and professional manner to improve land records management and streamline revenue-related services. He stressed ensuring quality checks and maintain coordination among field functionaries to expedite the process.

The DC underlined that the digitization of revenue records is pivotal to ensure ease of access to land-related information for citizens.

The DC stressed the Revenue Officers to work with added zeal and dedication to ensure quality and timely services to citizens.
