Srinagar, Oct 11: Commandant CI STC Kashmir, BSF, Yoginder Agarwal on Saturday praised the dedication and readiness of the young ‘Seema Praharis,’ saying they demonstrated full preparedness even before their formal attestation during ‘Operation Sindoor’.
“In May this year, the Government of India launched Operation Sindoor, and at that time, these law protectors had just completed 22 weeks of basic training,” Agarwal said, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
He added, “After two weeks of specialised training, they stood ready without hesitation for the operation and performed their duties with full dedication. This reflects their wartime preparedness, defensive capability, and firm determination.”
The Subsidiary Training Centre (STC) Humhama witnessed a grand passing out parade and attestation ceremony for 167 recruit constables (Tradesmen) of Batch No. 44, marking their first step into national service. The recruits, drawn from different parts of India, took their oath to serve the nation as brave ‘Seema Praharis’.
Solomon Yash Kumar Minz, IPS, Inspector General, STC Kashmir, BSF, the chief guest, was welcomed by Commandant Agarwal. IG Minz inspected the ceremonial parade and praised the recruits for their discipline, dedication, and completion of rigorous training.
The ceremony concluded with the oath-taking, where the recruits pledged to uphold the highest values of integrity, courage, and service while protecting the nation’s borders. (KNO)
