AMO holds awareness camp at Parimpora

Srinagar, Oct 11: The Area Marketing Office Srinagar actively participated in the launch event of the Prime Minister Digital Development Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY) held at the Agri Market Parimpora on Saturday.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from farmers, traders, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and various stakeholders from across the Valley.

The occasion was graced by All Valley President Fruit Association Kashmir, Bashir Ahmad Bashir, who attended the event along with several prominent figures from the horticulture and trade sectors.

On the sidelines of the main event, the Area Marketing Office Srinagar organized a special awareness camp to disseminate information about various Central and UT-sponsored schemes related to Horticulture and allied sectors.

The program aimed at spreading awareness among the unemployed youth, farmers, and traders about initiatives such as the HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Program) and JK-SIP (Startup Initiative Program.

The awareness camp received widespread appreciation from participants, who lauded the department’s efforts for bringing key information directly to the grassroots level.

The initiative successfully fulfilled its objective of educating the public about government schemes and empowering stakeholders to benefit from these opportunities—(KNO)
