Budget Session-2026: Speaker, House pay tributes to deceased legislators

Jammu, Feb 02: The Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, which convened on Monday for Budget Session, paid glowing tributes to former MLA Ghulam Mohammad Khan and former MLC Khawaja Ghulam Mohammad Lone, who passed away since the last session.

During the Obituary references, the Speaker led the House in paying respects to the departed leaders, highlighting their contributions and dedicated efforts towards the upliftment of general public.

The Speaker and house members also observed a two-minute silence in memory of the former lawmakers, acknowledging their service and commitment to public welfare.
