Mission YUVA : DC Baramulla approves 458 cases at DLIC meeting

BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 04:  Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Wednesday chaired a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Baramulla at the DC office meeting hall and approved 458 fresh cases under the Mission YUVA programme.

At the outset, the chair, as per an official statement, was comprehensively briefed about the current status of the cases that were approved in previous DLIC meetings and several new cases of unemployed eligible youth in the district were presented to the Committee.

After thoroughly reviewing the cases, the DC approved 458 cases, thereby enabling them to explore self-employment avenues to significantly improve their livelihoods.

Reviewing the implementation status, the DC reiterated the district administration’s commitment to providing full institutional support to ensure seamless processing of applications and sustained handholding of aspiring entrepreneurs.

The DC also instructed the concerned departments and officers to fast-track the processing of applications and timely preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) so that financial assistance reaches the beneficiaries without delay.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Director Employment, Baramulla; Lead District Manager; Cluster Head, J&K Bank; District General Manager, NABARD among others.
