The inspections were carried out to assess ground conditions with regard to feasibility, land demarcation, utility shifting and alignment of the projects with the City’s traffic management and infrastructure upgradation plans.

While taking spot inspections of the infrastructure upgradation projects, the DC underscored the need for effective inter-departmental coordination among line departments including Revenue, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), R&B, JalShakti, KPDCL and Traffic Police, in order to ensure timely execution of the projects with minimal inconvenience to the general public.
