Srinagar, Feb 09: A 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his two-wheeler collided with an oil tanker near the Toyota showroom in Parimpora area of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a tanker bearing registration number JK02AG-9319 collided with a motorcycle near Toyota showroom, Parimpora, resulting in multiple injuries to the rider.
He said the injured was immediately taken to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad (45), son of Ali Mohammad Khumani, resident of Zainakote, Srinagar.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken-up. (KNO)
