The programme, as per an official statement, was organised by Tejass Ek Pahal Foundation under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh and the supervision of NGO Chairman Akash Parihar. The dignitaries paid tributes to the martyrs by lighting traditional lamps, laying floral wreaths and observing a two-minute silence.

Students and participants presented patriotic songs, speeches and cultural performances, remembering the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs and reaffirming their commitment to the nation. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various government and private schools, volunteers and citizens.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries underscored the importance of patriotism, unity, discipline and national integrity. They urged the youth to draw inspiration from the courage, dedication and selfless service of the martyrs and to contribute positively towards nation-building, social harmony and community welfare.

As part of the observance, a students’ rally was organised, commencing from Town Hall Doda and passing through Tondwah, Clock Tower and the DC Office Doda before culminating back at the Town Hall. Participants carried placards and raised patriotic slogans to honour the martyrs and spread messages of unity, peace and responsibility.

He highlighted that the country’s unity and integrity have played a vital role in preserving a strong India. He also expressed condolences over the recent loss of soldiers in road accidents in Bhaderwah and informed that the Indian Army is organising a Snow Marathon as a tribute to the fallen soldiers. He urged the people to work collectively for the development of the nation.
