SANJY-2026: DC Bandipora reviews arrangements at Shadipora Transit Camp

BANDIPORA, FEBRUARY 14: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Saturday conducted a spot inspection of arrangements at Shadipora Transit Camp in preparation for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2026.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner took a first-hand assessment of the infrastructure, facilities, and essential services being developed at the transit camp for the convenience of Yatris proceeding towards the holy cave via the Baltal route. She reviewed the pace and quality of ongoing works and inspected various arrangements finalized for the smooth and efficient conduct of the Yatra.

Emphasizing timely completion of all preparatory measures, the DC stressed the importance of ensuring a safe, comfortable, and hassle-free experience for the pilgrims. She directed the concerned departments to work in close coordination and maintain high standards of sanitation, potable water supply, uninterrupted power, accommodation, medical facilities, and other essential services at the transit camp.

On the occasion, the DC directed all line departments to function in synergy and ensure that all infrastructure and support services are put in place well ahead of the commencement of the Yatra.
