SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 10: District Social Welfare Office (DSWO) Srinagar organized Dementia Screening-cum-Medical Camps at various Locations for Senior citizens at various locations in the district.
The camps, as per an official statement, were organized at Noorbagh Marriage Hall, Hazratbal Meerakshah Colony, Eidgah Saidpora, and Ahata WaqarChanapora for Senior Citizens under the aegis of the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY).
An expert team of physicians and medical professionals deputed from Health Department carried out detailed health examinations, advanced dementia screenings, specialist consultations and counselling sessions. Complimentary medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries in accordance with clinical guidelines.
The camp witnessed participation of a large number of elderly people who availed these services and benefited from professional medical guidance, health awareness sessions and personalized wellness recommendations.
