Srinagar, Mar 23: As part of its continuing investigation in the Delhi Red Fort area bomb blast case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted extensive searches at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a NIA spokesman said that the counter-terror agency, which is pursuing various leads in the case RC – 21/2025/NIA/DLI, searched nine locations in Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara. “Several digital devices were seized during the searches and the same have been sent for forensic analysis,” he said.

The spokesman said that 11 accused have been arrested till date for their roles in the deadly blast that shook the national capital on 10th November 2025, killing several persons and injuring many others. The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the lethal explosion. “The NIA found during investigation that Umer had masterminded the blast conspiracy in coordination with arrested co-accused and others,” he said.

The agency is continuing with its efforts to unravel the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and to identify others involved in the plot to spread mayhem and destabilise the country, he added. (KNO)
