Jammu, Oct 18: The Jammu Division, under the direction of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal conducts various campaigns to ensure excellent facilities for all passengers.
To ensure quality food, pure drinking water, and clean toilets, ticket checking campaigns are conducted at stations and trains to curb ticketless and irregular travel.
On October 17, 2025, an intensive ticket checking campaign was conducted at all important stations in the division, including Jammu, Pathankot Cantt, Pathankot City, Katra, Srinagar, and Budgam.
This campaign was conducted by a ticket checking team headed by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal. The ticket checking teams were led by Assistant Commercial Manager, Jammu, Mr. Manoj Meena, and conducted a thorough inspection of stations and trains.
Under this ticket checking campaign, 673 passengers were charged for traveling without tickets, and a fine of approximately five lakh rupees was collected.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Mr. Uchit Singhal, stated that ticket checking campaigns will be conducted periodically in the division to curb ticketless and irregular travel. Therefore, all passengers are requested to travel with valid tickets. He appealed to passengers to use M-UTS and the RailOne App for their travel tickets, which will save time and avoid long queues.
