CM Omar pays tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar

Srinagar, Apr 13: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today paid rich tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, describing him as a visionary leader, social reformer, and the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.

 

In his message, the Chief Minister said that Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong struggle for social justice, equality and the upliftment of marginalized sections continues to inspire generations. He highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s invaluable contribution in laying the foundation of a democratic and inclusive India based on the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity.

 

The Chief Minister called upon the people, especially the youth, to draw inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals and work towards building a just and equitable society.

 

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive development, the Chief Minister said that the true tribute to Dr. Ambedkar lies in upholding his vision of social justice and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
