Srinagar, 18 Apr: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Saturday extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Hujjaj-e-Kiram from Jammu and Kashmir and rest of the country, embarking on the sacred journey of the Annual Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Issuing a party statement, he said that Hajj is a profound act of worship that embodies faith, sacrifice, patience and unity among Muslims across the world.
Dr. Farooq appealed to the Hujjaj-e-Kiram to remember the entire humanity in their special prayers, particularly praying for global peace and harmony.
He further requested the pilgrims to especially pray for the peace, unity, and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, so that it may continue to thrive in compassion, dignity and mutual understanding.
He concluded by praying that Allah Almighty accepts the Hajj of all pilgrims, grants them ease and safety in their journey and blesses them with a spiritually enriched and safe return.
