CM discusses dev issues with public representatives

Jammu, Apr 22: Several public representatives on Wednesday called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here and discussed a range of developmental and governance-related matters.

Among those who called on the Chief Minister were Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, MLA Inderwal Payare Lal Sharma and former Minister Abdul Ghani Kohli.

During the interactions, the visiting public representatives apprised the Chief Minister of various issues and demands concerning their respective constituencies and areas of responsibility.

Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil, Dr. Mohd. Jaffer Akhoon also called on the Chief Minister and discussed issues concerning Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Discussions largely focused on strengthening infrastructure, improving public service delivery, and addressing region-specific concerns.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and assured them that their genuine demands would be examined on priority. He reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive development and responsive governance, emphasizing that the concerns of people from all regions are being addressed in a systematic and time-bound manner.
