He directed the concerned departments to expedite forest clearances for PMGSY Phase-IV (Batch-II).

Further, he instructed all departments to ensure the timely preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and estimates for works proposed in the financial year 2026–27.

Reiterating the Omar Abdullah-led Government’s commitment to inclusive development and tribal welfare, the Minister directed the administration to identify suitable land for the establishment of Gujjar & Bakerwal and Gaddi & Sippi hostels in Bhaderwah.

He also called for the preparation of a comprehensive DPR for a modern drainage system to address urban infrastructure needs in the town.

MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar, who was present in the meeting, raised several public concerns and developmental demands, urging their prompt resolution in the larger interest of public welfare.

Among others who attended the meeting were ADC Bhaderwah, Sunil kumar Bhutiyal, Chief Engineer Jal Shakti, Hanief Choudhary, CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority, Sanjeev Sharma, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti, PWD (R&B) and PMGSY, officials from Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited, BMO Bhaderwah, Principal GDC Bhaderwah, and officers from various departments.
