BANDIPORA, APRIL 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Monday held an interaction with successful local entrepreneurs under the ongoing “Kahani Jeet Ki” initiative at Bandipora, showcasing achievements under various government-supported livelihood programmes including Mission YUVA.

The interaction featured entrepreneurs from diverse sectors including a manufacturing unit, poultry unit, hardware unit, departmental store and dairy units. A beneficiary running a Library also shared insights into providing educational spaces for students.

During the session, entrepreneurs highlighted how government support and schemes have enabled them to establish and expand their ventures, generating sustainable income and employment opportunities.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner spoke about initiatives such as indoor sports facilities and food units, which can provide constructive engagement for youth while promoting entrepreneurship.

Interacting with the participants, the DC appreciated their efforts and said that such success stories reflect the impact of government schemes at the grassroots level. She encouraged entrepreneurs to continue innovating and to motivate others to come forward and benefit from various livelihood programmes.

The DC reiterated that these interactions serve as an important platform for sharing experiences, addressing challenges, and strengthening implementation of schemes across sectors.

Among others, the Interaction was attended by District Information Officer Bandipora, Aadil Manzoor Wani; Employment Officer Bandipora, Nissar Ahmad; Career Counselling Officer; SBDU team and entrepreneurs.
