KULGAM, APRIL 29: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the Drug Control Authority conducted a series of inspections and awareness activities at DH Pora, Kulgam.
During the inspections, all pharmaceutical establishments were checked. It was observed that CCTV cameras had been installed and computerized billing systems adopted, ensuring improved transparency and regulatory compliance.
An awareness programme, as per an official statement, was also conducted at DH Pora, where chemists were sensitized about the proper maintenance of scheduled drugs and the strict dispensation of such medicines only on the prescription of registered medical practitioners.
Later, officers of the Drug Control Authority participated in an anti-drug rally held in the main market of DH Pora, spreading awareness and reinforcing the message of a drug-free society.
