SRINAGAR, MAY 14: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo Thursday visited Government Boys Middle School (GBMS), Baghat Shoor in LalBazar area to review the progress of ongoing infrastructure upgradation works.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Executive Engineer, R&B Division Core, Arif Rehman Hazari, Tehsildar, Eidgah, Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, Deputy CEO, Anjum Raja, Officers from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and other concerned accompanied the DC during the visit.
During the inspection, the DC assessed the pace and quality of construction being carried out by the R&B Department under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. He inspected various sections of the building. He reviewed the pace and quality of construction work being carried out by R&B department under Samagra Shiksha.
On the occasion, the DC directed the concerned agency to complete the finishing works. He emphasized that improved School infrastructure will provide a better learning environment for students in the area.
