SRINAGAR, JUNE 04: Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah Thursday stressed the widespread adoption of the NPSS Mobile Application, focusing on its practical implementation and strategies for enhancing user adoption, during a programme, held at the Directorate of Agriculture, Lal Mandi, Srinagar.

The programme, as per an official statement, was attended by officers and officials from across the department.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director Agriculture Kashmir highlighted the importance of digital technologies in modernizing agricultural service delivery and ensuring greater transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for farmers. He emphasized that the NPSS Mobile Application has been developed as a vital digital platform to streamline various agricultural services and facilitate real-time data management.

The Director urged field functionaries to familiarize themselves thoroughly with the application’s features and ensure its effective implementation at the grassroots level. He stressed the need for creating awareness among farmers and stakeholders to maximize the benefits of the platform and accelerate its adoption across the Valley.

During the programme, technical experts provided detailed demonstrations of the application, explaining its functionalities, operational procedures, and practical utility in day-to-day departmental activities. Participants were also given hands-on training to enhance their understanding of the platform and its field-level applications.

Interactive sessions were held to address queries and gather feedback from participants regarding the implementation process. The suggestions and observations received during the programme will help further strengthen the application and improve user experience.

The programme concluded with a reaffirmation of the department’s commitment to leveraging digital innovations for efficient service delivery and promoting technology-driven agricultural development in Jammu and Kashmir.
