Apprehended Pak national sent back Waris Fayaz Srinagar, Jun 19: A Pakistani national, who was apprehended by security forces in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after allegedly crossing the Line of Control (LoC), has been sent back, officials said. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the individual, identified as Asad Khan, a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), was detained in Simari village of Kupwara on June 12 after crossing into Indian territory. They said that following the completion of necessary procedures, he was sent back to Pakistan on June 18. They added that during his stay in India, the he was treated in a humane manner in accordance with established norms and procedures. (KNO)
