Disqualification rules for J&K legislators to be tabled in Assembly

GST amendment bill to taken for consideration, passage

Srinagar, Oct 30: The Members of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (Disqualification on Grounds of Defection) Rules-2025 will be laid in the Legislative Assembly on Friday.

As per list of business scheduled in the House tomorrow as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Secretary, Legislative Assembly will lay on table a copy of “Members of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (Disqualification on Grounds of Defection) Rules-2025” in the House.

Under section 28 of Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act-2019, the 10th schedule of the Constitution of India is applicable to J&K Union Territory.

According to the list, a bill to amend The Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax -2025 will be taken up for consideration and passage. (KNO)
