SHOPIAN, AUGUST 21: Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Shopian, under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, organised an awareness programme at Government Middle School Mashwara, Block Keller, with a special focus on girl education, empowerment, safety and protection.
During the programme, students and participants, as per an official statement, were sensitised about the importance of educating girls and ensuring equal opportunities for them to pursue their studies and build a bright, secure and dignified future.
The team emphasised that an educated girl is the foundation of an educated, empowered and progressive society. Participants were encouraged to support girls in continuing their education and to promote a safe, positive and supportive environment where every girl can learn, grow and realise her potential.
The programme also highlighted the collective responsibility of families, schools and communities in promoting the rights, safety, education and empowerment of girls, in line with the objectives of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
