Boy, 17, dies after being struck by truck in Budgam’s Wathwora

Budgam, Aug 31: A 17-year-old boy died after being struck by a truck in the Wathwora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday, officials said.

An official told that the teenager sustained injuries after being struck by a truck in Wathwora and was immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora for treatment.

He said doctors at the hospital declared the boy brought dead. The deceased was identified as Mohd Faheem Teli (17), son of Mushtaq Ahmad Teli, a resident of Wathwora, Chadoora.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation—(KNO)
