UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 02: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Wednesday reviewed the progress of works being executed under the District Capex Budget 2026–27 and Rural Development Department schemes in the district here at a meeting with officers of the concerned.
The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore; Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh; Assistant Commissioner Development Om Parkash; all Block Development Officers and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner undertook a detailed review of the sector-wise progress of ongoing and new works, tendering and allotment processes, as well as the physical and financial progress achieved under the District Capex Budget and RDD schemes.
The DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the execution of ongoing works and ensure their timely completion within the stipulated timelines.
The DC called upon the officers and field functionaries to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and commitment to achieve the desired outcomes.
He stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of quality in all developmental works being undertaken in the Rural Development sector across the district.
The DC further directed the officers to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, ensure optimum utilization of resources and adhere strictly to prescribed timelines. He urged them to work with renewed zeal and dedication to achieve the targets fixed for the current financial year while ensuring transparency, accountability and quality in implementation.
