UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 02: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Wednesday chaired a review meeting with officers and representatives of the agencies associated with the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana to assess the latest implementation status of the scheme in the district.
During the meeting, the DC, as per an official statement, sought feedback from the concerned stakeholders regarding the challenges being faced in the implementation of the scheme. He emphasized the need for an extensive door-to-door awareness campaign to educate the public about the benefits of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and encourage greater participation.
Stressing the importance of effective coordination, the DC directed JPDCL and empanelled vendors to work in close collaboration to bridge the gap between applications received and pending installations.
He further directed the vendors to expedite the installation of pending rooftop solar systems and ensure timely completion of all allotted cases, so that the benefits of the scheme reach the maximum number of eligible households across the district.
