SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 18: The fortnightly Swachhata Hi Seva campaign was launched in District Samba with a renewed focus on cleanliness, sanitation and active public participation.
The launch programme was organised by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan.
ADDC Champa Devi chaired the event attended by ACP Rafiq Ahmed Jaral; PO ICDS, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) and all Block Development Officers (BDOs) of District Samba.
On the occasion, participants were sensitised to the importance of cleanliness, sanitation and hygienic surroundings. A detailed PowerPoint presentation was also delivered, highlighting the objectives of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and outlining the key activities and events scheduled during the campaign period.
As part of the campaign, the ADDC flagged off a Swachhata Van to undertake awareness activities across both rural and urban areas, encouraging citizens to adopt responsible sanitation practices and actively participate in the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative.
