The workshop, as per an official statement, was presided over by Principal Accountant General (A&E), Jammu & Kashmir, Jay Prakash Narayan Singh; Deputy Accountant General (Pension), Mukesh Kumar Bramhane; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Uri, Prince Kumar; Principal Government Degree College Uri, Prof. Ab. Majeed Chalkoo; District Treasury Officer, Parvaiz Ahmad Sheikh, and Accounts Officer to DC Office Baramulla, Ilka Hassan, besides DDOs, pensioners and other participants, attended the programme.

The workshop focused on strengthening the quality of accounts being rendered to the Accountant General’s office and ensuring speedy disposal of pension and family pension cases.
