Srinagar, September 19: The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Kashmir, conducted the first batch of the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram (KKK) at the Meeting Hall of the Directorate of Agriculture, Lal Mandi, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Director Agriculture Kashmir and Farmers Welfare Sartaj Ahmad Shah.
The one-day capacity-building programme, as per a PIB statement, was conducted by Dr. Qazi Showkat Ashraf, State Master Trainer and Deputy Director (Central). It focused on strengthening behavioural competencies, professional conduct, public service orientation and citizen centric approaches among government officials.
The programme is being implemented under Mission Karmayogi, the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB), which aims to promote a professional, responsive and citizen centric civil service through continuous learning and competency-based capacity building. Further batches will be conducted to provide training to all officials of the Department.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the capabilities of officials, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving public service delivery.
