KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 24: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam Thursday chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in the district.
The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by the SE, KPDCL, Mohammad Yousuf, concerned AEEs, PGCIL officials, RDSS-PMA (MEDHAJ Techno Concept Pvt. Ltd.), TKC (Rahul Cables), and other concerned officials.
The meeting reviewed the progress of various works being executed under the scheme, including HT reconductoring, HT segregation, LT ABC/HVDS works and installation of distribution transformers.The meeting also took stock of the physical and financial progress of the ongoing works.
The DDC instructed the KPDCL authorities and concerned agencies to expedite the completion of the ongoing works and ensure their timely completion. The review of smart metering process was reviewed and directions issued for time-bound completions of process so as to improve the reliability and affordability of power supply to consumers.
