Baramulla, Oct 07: Commissioner, Survey and Land Records, J&K, Inderjeet on Wednesday directed officials in Baramulla district to complete the AgriStack initiation process within 10 days.

The directions were issued during a review meeting here to assess progress on the Digital Crop Survey, AgriStack, Farmer Registration and backlog mutations.

As of October 7, a total of 4,53,975 plots have been covered under the Digital Crop Survey, accounting for 98.6 per cent progress. Another 22,787 plots remain unsurveyed.

Under AgriStack, 5,48,012 of the 6,95,975 Jamabandi entries have been approved, representing 78.7 per cent progress. The initiation process has reached 85.4 per cent.

The district has completed 9,944 farmer registrations, of which 3,080 have been approved. Another 5,570 registrations are pending verification, while 1,294 await approval.

The review also showed substantial progress in clearing backlog mutations. Of the 46,905 mutations, 46,282, or 98.7 per cent, have been approved, leaving 623 cases pending.

The Commissioner directed officers to intensify efforts to clear the remaining cases, particularly those pending verification and approval. He called for close monitoring at the tehsil level to ensure timely completion of AgriStack entries, farmer registrations and mutations.

Inderjeet specifically set a 10-day deadline for completing the AgriStack initiation process and directed officials to maintain strict tehsil-wise monitoring.

He also directed that Parti Sarkar land be reflected and made available in all mutations wherever applicable, stressing the need for proper updation and transparency in land records—(KNO)
