SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 10: As part of the nationwide commemoration of 150 Years of National Pride ‘Vande Mataram’, special programmes and activities were Monday organized across Government Degree Colleges and all schools of District Shopian, including GDC Shopian and GDC Zainapora.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students and staff from Government and Private Institutions. The celebrations included special morning assemblies, collective singing of Vande Mataram and a series of competitions such as essay writing, debates, quizzes, painting and slogan writing on the themes of patriotism and national unity.
The programme was coordinated by Principal GDC Shopian/Zainapora and CEO Shopian, ensuring vibrant participation at all educational institutions.
As part of monitoring and supervision, all Tehsildars visited the schools within their respective jurisdictions actively participating in the celebrations and ensuring smooth conduct of events.
The day’s activities reflected the collective spirit of unity and pride, reinforcing the timeless message of “Vande Mataram” and celebrating the nation’s glorious heritage
