JAMMU, NOVEMBER 12: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary Wednesday reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring prompt service delivery and speedy redressal of public grievances to strengthen governance at the grassroots level.

During an extensive public outreach session held at Civil Secretariat here, Deputy Chief Minister met several public delegations from Jammu as well as Srinagar, who apprised him of various issues concerning their respective areas. The deputations raised matters related to overall upgradation of civic and infrastructural facilities in their respective areas.

Giving a patient hearing to all delegations, the Deputy Chief Minister assured them that their genuine concerns would be addressed in a time-bound and result-oriented manner. He directed the concerned Departments to take immediate and impactful measures to ensure effective resolution of issues affecting public welfare.

The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that responsive governance and prompt service delivery remain top priorities of the present government. He said that consistent engagement with the public and timely follow-up of grievances are essential for maintaining transparency and accountability in the system.

He further stated that the Government is committed to providing equitable development across all regions and ensuring that the benefits of various schemes and projects reach every section of society.
