Dr Farooq extends solidarity, condolences

Srinagar, 15 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has expressed deep anguish over the tragic explosion at the Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar, which claimed nine lives and left several others injured.

He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed profound sorrow over the loss of precious lives. He also prayed for the swift and complete recovery of all those injured in the incident.

On the directions of the Chief Minister, Ministers Sakina Itoo, Javed Dar visited the injured at the hospital to assess their condition. They enquired about the line of treatment being administered and instructed the medical staff to ensure the best possible care for the injured.

They also assured the families that the government remains fully committed to providing all necessary support, reaffirming that the entire administration stands in solidarity with the victims during this difficult time.

Javed Dar was accompanied by Mushtaq Guroo, MLA, Chanapora, who also interacted with the families and hospital authorities.

Dr. Farooq urged the administration to extend every possible assistance to the affected families and ensure that comprehensive support reaches them without delay. He expressed hope that the injured recover soon and that the families of the deceased find strength in this moment of immense grief.

Among others, Party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani and Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq have also expressed deep anguish over the unfortunate incident.

They extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to all those who lost their loved ones and prayed for the speedy recovery of those undergoing treatment.
