SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 26: The Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes (SC ST&BC) Development corporation conducted an Awareness Camp at Shopian Wednesday, in collaboration with National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC), New Delhi.

The Camp aimed to educate various self-employment income generating Schemes offered by Corporation at concessional rates of interest.

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a significant number of attendees from Backward Classes along with participants from diverse sections of society. The camp served as a platform to inform about Schemes, particularly those adapted for the upliftment of Backward Classes Communities.

Officials from the corporation gave a comprehensive information on the scheme’s goals,  benefits and application procedures of the schemes.

Deputy General Manager, Mehmood-ul -Haq Gundroo, District Manager, Mohammad Maqbool Ganie, Accounts Officer  along with other staff were present at the event.

The corporation expressed its commitment to continue such Awareness programmes in future to ensure wider coverage and inclusion of beneficiaries.

On the spot distribution of brochures, pamphlets and application forms was facilitated during the event.
