Syed Qamar Sajad is new Director Tourism Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 27: The Government on Thursday ordered transfers and postings of two JKAS officers with immediate effect, posting Syed Qamar Sajad as Director Tourism, Kashmir.

According to the official order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), states that Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation has been transferred and posted as Director Tourism, Kashmir against the available vacancy.

The government said that he will continue to hold the charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

The order further reads that Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department has been posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, against an available vacancy.

The transfers have according to the government ordered has been issued ‘in the interest of administration’ with effect immediately. (KNO)
