BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 01: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Monday chaired a meeting at the Main Meeting Hall DC Office to review the Baseline Survey and finalise the Comprehensive District Agriculture Development Plan (DADP) under the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY).

The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by officers from agriculture and allied sectors, along with representatives from banking and development agencies, to ensure a coordinated and data-driven approach for strengthening the district’s agricultural landscape.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said, “The District Agriculture Development Plan must reflect the real needs of our farmers and the potential of each sector. Accurate data, timely inputs, and inter-departmental coordination are crucial for preparing a practical and result-oriented plan. Our focus should be on improving productivity, creating market linkages, and ensuring that farmers benefit from every component of PMDDKY.”

Discussions during the meeting revolved around streamlining baseline data, identifying priority interventions, and aligning departmental submissions with the overall objectives of the scheme.

The DC directed all departments to submit their final inputs promptly for the timely completion of the DADP.
