REASI, DECEMBER 02: In a significant push toward youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, the District Administration Reasi, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik has approved 310 cases under Mission YUVA.

A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) was convened Tuesday, presided over by ADDC Reasi, Sukhdev Singh Samyal, to review and sanction applications received through the Skill and Business Development Unit (SBDU). After detailed scrutiny and evaluation, the Committee cleared 310 cases for financial assistance and institutional support aimed at promoting self-employment and business development among local youth.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC, as per an official statement, highlighted the transformative role of Mission YUVA in strengthening skill development, promoting entrepreneurship and expanding livelihood opportunities across the district. She emphasized the need for robust post-approval guidance, handholding and regular monitoring to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the sanctioned ventures.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Employment, Sachin Sharma, representatives from the banks, the District Industries Centre and other concerned officials.

The approval of these cases marks a major stride in the administration’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant ecosystem of youth-led enterprises in Reasi.
