Jammu, Dec 02: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra on Tuesday commended the troops for their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment in safeguarding the nation’s borders under harsh terrain and weather conditions.

According to the details available, GOC Mishra undertook a visit to forward areas in the Bhimber Gali Sector to assess the prevailing operational preparedness and security situation along the Line of Control (LoC).

Lieutenant General Mishra was accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division.

The GOC White Knight Corps during the visit interacted closely with troops deployed in challenging high-altitude posts along the LoC.

He was given detailed briefings by field commanders on the current state of readiness, ongoing training activities, and the comprehensive measures being implemented to enhance surveillance capabilities, precision engagement systems, and overall operational effectiveness.

Lieutenant General Mishra emphasized the critical importance of maintaining constant vigilance, continuously strengthening operational preparedness, and relentlessly honing combat skills to effectively counter any emerging threats and meet future challenges.

The GOC reiterated the Indian Army’s resolve to ensure the sanctity of the LoC remains inviolable and directed all ranks to remain proactive in upgrading both infrastructure and tactical capabilities in the sector—(KNO)
