KNO Special Correspondent

Srinagar, Oct 06: Congress President Tariq Hamid Karra on Monday said the party has not held any discussion related to Budgam and Nagrota by-elections with the National Conference.

Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Karra described the reports quoting him as saying that Congress has decided to skip Budgam and Nagrota as “mischievous and ridiculous.”

“There have been no formal or informal discussions with the NC regarding the Budgam or Nagrota seats,” he said.

He added that they will initiate legal action against the news portal if it doesn’t remove the baseless content. “We will file a complaint against these mischievous claims. I don’t know how I have been quoted as saying this, nor have I spoken to the news portal that carried the report,” he said. (KNO)
