BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Thursday chaired a meeting to review and finalize arrangements for the successful conduct of ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Or’ Week, scheduled to commence from December 19 across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner, as per an official statement, directed all departments to organize dedicated camps at the grassroots level during the week, with a special focus on redressal of public grievances and delivery of government services. Emphasis was laid on ensuring maximum outreach so that benefits reach intended beneficiaries in a time-bound and transparent manner.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed that daily progress reports and data on activities conducted shall be submitted to the District Level Monitoring Committee, headed by the Programme Officer, ICDS. Departments were asked to focus on key performance parameters and ensure proper documentation.
Sub-Divisional Magistrates were directed to closely monitor and supervise all activities being carried out in their respective subdivisions, while District Heads of Departments were instructed to ensure smooth functioning of camps and adequate deployment of manpower and resources.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all departments to make Prashasan Gaon Ki Or Week impactful and result-oriented, with public satisfaction and effective service delivery as the primary objectives
