SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 25: In a significant late-night crackdown against illegal mining activities, the Revenue Department Keller, under the supervision of the Tehsildar Keller and Naib Tehsildar Berthipora, conducted a search operation in the Gujar Basti area of Kralcheck.
During the operation, officials apprehended individuals involved in illegal soil extraction and seized one JCB machine and one tipper being used for unauthorized excavation and transportation of soil.
The seized machinery has been handed over to Police Post Batipora, and an FIR has been registered in the matter. Further investigation is underway to identify all persons involved in the illegal activity.
The authorities have reiterated their firm commitment to continue strict action against illegal mining and soil extraction. They warned that violators will face stringent legal consequences, emphasizing that such enforcement drives will continue to safeguard natural resources and ensure strict adherence to the law.
