KULGAM, JANUARY 02: To review the functioning of the Revenue Department and to ensure efficient and prompt public service delivery, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, on Friday chaired a comprehensive review meeting of revenue officers here at the Mini-Secretariat.
During the meeting, the DC conducted a detailed review of service delivery across all Patwar Halqas, assessing performance and progress at the grassroots level.
Key issues discussed included the status of online citizen services, digitization of revenue records, grievances related to migrant properties, and the progress of revenue court cases in various offices.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of services under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), Mussavi preparation and geo-referencing in each tehsil, pendency of SRO cases, and the vacancy position of Lumberdars and Chowkidars.
Additionally, the DC reviewed Samadhan registrations and their disposal, grievance redressal on the Revenue Plus portal, and the conduct and attendance of mutation camps.
The DC issued strict directions to ensure timely delivery of all services and speedy disposal of grievances, stressing accountability and responsiveness.
He instructed revenue officers to undertake regular field visits and on-the-spot inspections to address day-to-day issues of the public and enhance service efficiency.
The meeting was attended by ACR Reyaz Ahmad Shah, along with all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the Revenue Department.
