Clears 5 rent assessment cases

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 02: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, Friday chaired a meeting of the District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.

During the meeting, a total of five rent assessment cases pertaining to government offices functioning in rented buildings across the district were placed before the committee. After detailed deliberations, all five cases were approved.

The Deputy Commissioner, as per an official statement, emphasised the need for timely disposal of rent assessment cases in accordance with prescribed norms and directed the concerned departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Among others, the meeting was attended by the Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle, Bandipora; Chief Planning Officer Bandipora; Chief Medical Officer, Bandipora; Deputy Chief Education Officer, Bandipora; Child Development Project Officer, Bandipora; Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Bandipora and other concerned officers.
