Mukesh Singh appointed DGP Ladakh

Srinagar, Jan 02: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday appointed senior IPS officer Mukesh Singh as the Director General of Police (DGP), Ladakh, with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the MHA, a copy of which is in possession of the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mukesh Singh, an AGMUT cadre officer of the 1996 batch, has been posted as DGP, Ladakh on repatriation from Central deputation, until further orders.

The order, approved by the competent authority, also announced other postings of IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre. (KNO)
