DC Srinagar inspects new GMS Gangbug building

Srinagar, Jan 06: Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo Tuesday visited Gangbug area of the District and conducted an on-site inspection of the initiation of work on construction of new building for Government Middle School (GMS) being carried.

 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar; SDM West, Irfan Bahadur and other senior  Officers accompanied the DC during the visit.

 

During the visit, the DC carried out an onsite assessment of the works initiated to construct new building for Government Middle School Gangbug to fulfil long pending demand of the local population and enhance educational infrastructure and learning conditions for students in the area.

 

The DC emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely completion of the project as per approved specifications. The DC directed the concerned Officers to closely monitor the progress of work so that the facility is completed within the stipulated timeframe.

 

During the visit, local residents of the area also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner. They expressed hope that the new school building would provide improved classrooms and better educational facilities, contributing to a more conducive academic environment and ensuring enhanced access to quality education to students of Gangbug and adjoining areas.
