Bla youth found dead, family alleges murder

Baramulla, Jan 06: A 26-year-old youth was found dead here in North Kashmir on Tuesday.

According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) body of Rayees Ahmed Mir was found at Delina, following which his family alleged murder.

Family members told reporters that Rayees was at home till late Monday night but was found dead in the nearby market area this morning.

Alleging murder, the family demanded a thorough probe and stringent action against accused involved in what they termed a “planned killing.” They urged the authorities to ensure justice for the victim.

Meanwhile, an official said that Police have taken the cognizance and investigations have been initiated to ascertain the cause of death. (KNO)
