Srinagar, Jan 13: As part of its intensified campaign against narcotics trafficking and with an aim to dismantle the financial network of the drug trade, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pulwama, through SIT NDPS Pulwama, has attached a residential property worth lakhs of rupees situated at Karimabad area of Pulwama district.
According to a statement, the attached property comprises a single-storied residential house constructed on land bearing Khasra No. 1735 Min (Abad-i-Deh), Khewat No. 485, Khata No. 992, located at Karimabad, Tehsil Pulwama, belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, resident of Karimabad, Pulwama.
The property, according to the statement has been found to be illegally acquired through proceeds of narcotics trafficking and has been seized and attached under Section 68-F(1) read with Chapter-VA of the NDPS Act, 1985, by the Competent Authority vide Order No. 01/2026 dated 13-01-2026. The accused has been involved in FIR No. 248/2025 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act and FIR No. 39/2025 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act of Police Station Pulwama, reflecting continued engagement in drug-related illegal activities.
