BARAMULLA, JANUARY 14: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa Wednesday reviewed the progress of ongoing projects under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) during a meeting held in the office Chamber.

The review, as per an official statement, was conducted through a detailed presentation by the concerned departments and executing agencies.

During the meeting, the DC directed all concerned departments to submit project completion certificates along with detailed project completion reports in a timely manner to ensure proper documentation and accountability.

Emphasizing adherence to timelines, the DC instructed the executive agencies to accord top priority to NABARD-funded projects, particularly those scheduled for completion by June and September 2026, and ensure that works are completed within the stipulated time frame without compromising quality.

The DC also directed the engineers to expedite preparations for upcoming NABARD projects, including completion of all requisite technical and administrative formalities, so that new projects can be taken up without delay.

The DC stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders for effective implementation of NABARD projects, which play a vital role in strengthening rural infrastructure and improving public service delivery.
