Doda, Oct 04: A special interactive session for the students of the Institute for Intellectual Development (IID J&K) was organized at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Doda. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, whose participation added immense value and inspiration to the event.
The primary objective of the session was to provide students with a unique platform to interact directly with the Deputy Commissioner and gain valuable insights into leadership, governance and personal development. Around 100 students participated enthusiastically, making the session lively and impactful.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to stay focused on their future goals.
During the session, students interacted freely with the DC, asking thoughtful questions related to career counseling, maintaining a positive study environment during preparation and developing self-belief to clear competitive examinations. The Deputy Commissioner responded to each query with motivational guidance and practical advice, inspiring the students to work with dedication and confidence.
IID J&K has been playing a pivotal role in empowering youth through quality education, offering free coaching to students from economically weaker sections. This initiative is being carried out in close collaboration with the District Administration Doda, with the shared vision of making quality education accessible and affordable for all.
The success of this educational program is attributed to the dedicated faculty, including Tahir Ashraf Wani (Senior Lecturer, Chemistry), Sajad Ahmed, Dr. Mohammad Shuaib (Director, IID J&K). Their commitment and guidance have been instrumental in nurturing the academic growth of students and preparing them for future challenges.
